The Expo at its 16th edition presents the best in extra-virgin olive oil production. It brings to Trieste visitors from international markets and is considered a top appointment for operators in the sector.

Olio Capitale is the only exhibition in Italy fully dedicated to top quality extra virgin olive oil, without any other food product to divert the attention.

Exhibiting at Olio Capitale producers have both the possibility to get an agenda of business meetings with selected buyers, both the opportunity to promote and sell their olive oil directly to the public.

New Features 2024 Edition

New Location

Olio Capitale will finally take place in a whole new exhibition structure. Innovatively designed, comfortable and technologically advanced, this new location features 5000 square metres for the exhibitors and visitors of Olio Capitale. The layout includes 3 very ample halls that will allow to position the stands without having any obstacles or forced paths. Spaces will also host conferences along with collateral activities such as the cooking school or the Oil Bar. The fair has several hundred free parking spaces in addition to being connected by public transport to the nearby city center and train station.

Olio Capitale, in Trieste, is at the center of a territory characterized by small producers devoted to high quality productions, attentive to all the stages of olive oil making, but also to its marketing aspects. These characteristics are common among producers in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto and especially Slovenia and Croatia. The exhibition section will be based on innovation applied to the traditional olive growing sector. Product categories will vary from equipment for the management of olive groves, to the ehnancement of the finished product, to product valorization in commercial and marketing terms, all united under a common “Smart Farming” technological or innovative component, this specific aspect being especially relevant in comparison to other fairs in Italy and pertinent to Trieste being a renowned hub for research.

Olio Capitale becomes a precious partner for producers. After the fair, an E-Commerce site will be available and reserved for Olio Capitale exhibitors and participants to the Olio Capitale Competition. For the remaining part of the year, the online platform will be able to accompany sales to worldwide gourmands and connoisseurs. The platform will also be digitally promoted and offer a rich range of contents related to the olive oil business.
